Tracker v8

The premium product of BiP Solutions is Tracker which accounts for 70% of the company’s revenue stream, bringing in £9.5 million a year. I was chosen to be the Lead Web Designer for Tracker v8 and I had big plans for it from day one. My main objective was to split the site so that the frontend (client side) would focus primarily on selling the tool, and the logged in (subscriber side) would be a dedicated application.

This project brought a lot of firsts for me as I was able to take the product from a wireframe and specification document to a fully fledged functional website / application. I created the Tracker UI in Photoshop and it was coded with XHTML / CSS (as well as some html 5 for progressive enhancement) in Eclipse. I also made good use of the jQuery/ jQuery UI JavaScript libraries for increased usability and functionality.
